HOW DOES IT WORK?
TomTom Touch Cardio + Body Composition fitness tracker uses the same technology as connected scales: BIA, or bio impedance analysis. Your trackers calculates your body fat and muscle mass by sending a harmless current through your body and measuring how much resistance the current encounters as it makes its way through your body.
WHEN SHOULD I TAKE A MEASUREMENT?Body composition can be measured any time but many factors, such as exercise, eating and hydration levels can influence a single measurement and cause daily fluctuations. Try to measure it every day at the same time and to be properly hydrated to get a more accurate reading.
